i was lamenting recently how there just are no real heroes anymore. then I happened to realize that yes, we do....we just might not hear about them as much as we should.they are common folk who will never have the notoriety of martin luther king,jr or mother teresa but they do what they can to make a difference in the lives of others, the place we live(planet earth for most of us) or just their own little corner of the world.here you will read about such folks who got tired of sitting around on their tushies waiting for change to happen and took matters upon themselves to not just be good, but be good for something.

I absolutely adore Sharon Osbourne and now more than ever...
Sharon learned about the
tragedy that struck the eight children of the Scott-Cadigan family in June 2003 when their parents died just 16 days apart. The family has been in a state of shock and the oldest children Jennifer, 22, and Janice, 21 have moved back home to be with their siblings during these hard times. Sharon was moved by their story and brought them on the show to help soothe their broken hearts. The eight siblings expressed sorrow but also optimism that they can get through this together.

The 8 children were guests on Sharon's new show to share their story and were presented with gift certificates from West Valley Mall,
a year supply of shoes from Payless Shoes AND a new car from Tracy Dodge Jeep. Also, Ozzy gave the family $1,000 for each memeber of the family.
