Blog Studio Pro Members- We generate the title for messages that you post without one. Now we do a better job of it. This makes the RSS feeds we generate for you simple and more readable.
- The new tag <$SlogRSSLink$> expands into an XML image link to your blog's RSS file.
- We have added an RSS <LINK> tag to the expansion of the <$SlogScripts$> Blog Studio tag. What this means is that your blog will identify itself as having an RSS representation and will specify where this alternate representation is located. The <$SlogScripts$> tag must be located in the <HEAD> section of your template text. It expands into the comment script, so if you use this tag, remove the comment script if it is present first.

All Members- Archives can be set to Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly
(see your blog's "settings" page)
- The main archive file name can now be set
(see your blog's "settings" page).
- Entering and updating a Post Date is simple now.
Blog Studio Pro Members- RSS! Syndication! An RSS file containing the last 15 messages published is generated automatically each time you publish. The RSS file name is formed by appending ".rss.xml" to the main archive file name.

We are releasing a bundle of cool features tomorrow morning - all of them for both Blog Studio and Blog Studio Pro members. The release requires us to take down the service from 1:30am to 4:30am EDT tomorrow morning (Thursday, Oct/03/2002). This will also give us the opportunity to do some network testing (we have had a couple bumpy days of Internet connectivity).
It will be worth the wait!
