Second post in the same day! Yup, this is probably why I'm doing not so good in school:

Thank God It's Friday

Are you down with G-O-D?

Watch the Saved! trailer.

The music is composed by Christophe Beck and it stars Mandy Moore, Jena Malone & Heather Matarrazo!

Teacher: I'm concerned about Mary and I thought maybe you could help her.
Student: You mean, like shoot her?

Sugar delight? Whoever said a sugar rush was a bad thing?

Spring break. Much to blog about. On Saturday I went to Sally's for her super secret party! Naw, it wasn't much of a secret, she kept spilling them for me. (There's a big box and it has stuff in it!) But before I went to her house I went to get my hair cut, and then when I got home for some reason I was wondering, what if Jess got her hair cut too, as short as mine? But then I was like no, that would never happen cause she hardly ever cuts her hair. So when I arrived at Sally's and went inside her living room, and I saw Jess, of course I screamed. Ahh! She had cut her hair! Of course, it was much better than mine (I'm jealous) but still it was quite odd. And don't ask me why I was thinking that, cause I have no clue myself. Sally's party was fun though. Even though the secret was that it was a Skye Sweetnam party. Ha ha. I can't stand her. Her song was the single for the How To Deal soundtrack. It was the first song on the album and I always skipped. Still, mind the Sweetnam, Sally's party was fun. Just look at the photos I took (hehe) --> Click me! The photos are on the misplacedmemories blog which has a brand new layout!

On Sunday I went to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Don't you just love that title? It is soo long. Haha. Right now I have the song that's in the trailer (I love trailers!) by ELO "Mr. Blue Sky" stuck in my head. That song just sold the movie to me. Aw, it's so beautiful-- the movie that is. Go see it! Don't you just love movies that are odd, original, confusing, quirky, & brilliant all at the same time. I adore them. Watch the trailer!

TV!!

What is wrong with Adam? Why didn't he choose Rachel? No!! Now, I must demand a Average Jane: Return of Rachel. See it even sounds good. Come on NBC! Are you listening?

Fox, you suck! Fox cancelled Wonderfalls! (I made the banner before I found out!) Hopefully, maybe some smart CEO out there might pick up this wonderful show. Now I can't even believe I'm suggesting this, but what about the WB or UPN. The WB, I'm not quite sure. I mean they killed ROSWELL, gave early retirement to BUFFY and are now saying bye, bye to ANGEL! (the only good show left, besides Gilmore Girls, which on it's own is slowly wilting away.) Please save Wonderfalls. It's a wonderful show. Sign this online petition: Don't let this wonder fall.

Music!!

I finally bought Rock N Roll by Ryan Adams! Oh. It's so delicious. I love it. But it's funny. I mean all the critics love Ryan Adams and all the critics hate Britney Spears, but then look who makes more money. And now look at Wonderfalls which was praised by critics but left for dead by audiences. It seems the only time audiences listen to critics is when it comes to movies. Why is that? I'm still trying to figure it out myself.

Until then... wallpaper this!

Alias: The Last Cup of Coffee

Tah-tah for now. Happy watching & listening.

Do The Math

Joan was awesome! (When is it not?) "Do the Math" was different from all the other JoA episodes because it didn't have the B plot storyline involving Will's work (which I greatly appreciated). Although the police stories are interesting, I often wish I could fast forward those scenes because they often having nothing to do with the main storyline. Sometimes they're just there to fill space.

At first I thought the writers were going somewhere with Kevin's new "feelings," and that possibly he was getting some real sensation back which could lead to his walking again. Of course, in the back of my mind I thought that would be a bad move because that would be way too easy. We don't want that. Maybe in its fourth season (I'm planning for this show to be around for a long time) but no. He should never walk again. I know that may sound sadistic but his paralysis is a part of who he is now, and by allowing him to walk again would show that his inability to walk is indeed a handicap. Kevin needs to embrace this life. (What?s so great about normal?) Another point made was about false hope. Hope is never false. You should never put anyone down for having hope because it's merely the belief of a greater tomorrow.

Another aspect of the show the writers are doing differently from the start of the series is that the endings aren't perfect anymore. Everything doesn't fit into place, not everything has a blatant meaning or immediate effect. At first, the writers did this to set up the JoA and show how one little moment can produce catastrophic changes on the rest of the world. But now, it's also significant to note that although the previous is true, many of us do not see the prolong effects of our everyday actions? ever. In "Double Dutch" (Episode 16), Joan will never see the effect she had on Casper. All she knows is that she helped her on her path to what will become. It's funny to think that our actions will have such great consequences. Simply purchasing milk, taking piano lessons, looking through the closet can have radical effects on a person's life. But it's comforting to know that someone is out there, looking after us. Placing the pieces together and doing the math.

Fridays, 8pm. Joan of Arcadia
