How could I forget Queer Eye on my best of 2003 list! Silly me! I love that show!

Carson: Mother tested and gay approved.

On Saturday I finally got to see The Last Samurai. After all the hype was gone, I was kind of iffy on whether or not to see it. My dad didn't even want to see it anymore but we did because I insisted. When we got to the theatre it was packed and my brother and I had to sit all the way up front. It was stadium seating so it wasn't so bad. After the movie, I realized that I actually like sitting up close better. The screen is much bigger that way. Haha. But the movie-- I absolutely loved it. I was in tears for the last half hour. I also kept squinting my eyes because of the violence. I don't really like violent movies, unless I know ahead of time that people's heads won't be chopped off. Ew, that's gross. But it now, will also be inducted as one of the best films of 2003.

On Sunday I saw Mona Lisa Smile. I did not want to see this movie! The critics horribly bashed it and I can't stand Julia Stiles, and latley Kirsten Dunst has annoyed the hell out of me. But I have to admit, this movie was pretty good. Julia was actually bearable, and Kirsten Dunsten impressed me, along with the other girls. Of course, I understand why the critics demolished this movie --but it wasn't that bad! Yeah, the story was somewhat iffy, it had no real theme, just telling stories like Dawson's Creek tells stories with no real purpose. But it actually had me in tears as well at the end. Just like the Samurai.

Oh, my gawd! Woohoo! Right now I'm watching the U.S. Nationals and yay! Sasha Cohen! What a shocker --she changed coaches. How said because Tatiana is sick. I hope she gets better. She has Sarah Hughes' coach now, which I find quite odd. At the beginning of Sasha's program she took a deep breath, which her new coach taught her. Her short program was amazing, everything--perfect. And you could see how excited she was afterwards. I'm still watching, so I don't know how well Michelle Kwan will do. Gawd, how many U.S. titles does she need anyways? Go Sasha--you deserve it!

Andy! I love my Andy. He's on VH1's sexiest list at #57. Wow, I'm so proud of him. But on my list he'd probably be #1.

Tomorrow I'm gonna go see "Chasing Liberty" with Christina, Sally and Chris. We're gonna miss you Jess!
