"Obsession isn't always a bad thing." -Michael Guerin Just wanted to post the intro to my "Just A Fan" chapter for my English final. Sorry for grammar mistakes. I barely wrote the first paragraph right now! and I can't think --I just wanted to post it. So enjoy!
Just A Fan FANATIC: "A PERSON WITH AN OBSESSIVE enthusiasm for a pastime or hobby," according to the Oxford University Dictionary. For as long as I remember, well since I was around seven years old I've been a fanatic of something. At seven, it was the television show, "Power Rangers" that I couldn?t get enough of. Then it was R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" series, which gave me the creeps, but I still loved anyways. I switched back to television with "Growing Pains," the repeats of course. When I started watching MTV, there was no way I could stop listening to 'NSYNC, and yes, regretfully Britney Spears. But then there came a show. A show in which the word "fan" would be redefined, by a fan base unlike any other. That show was "Roswell."

Oh I wish I had a moment like that. No, it's just that today on the way back home "Dreams" by the Cranberries came on the radio. It was so weird cause I haven't heard that song in such a long time. It was just a cool moment. But then the song was over and No Doubt came on--it's mainstream radio, what do you expect? *Sigh* The station was 98.7...no way that Cranberries song would've been playing on any other station. Come on people. All the other stations play is the "top" music while 98.7 plays the "best". :) It's funny though cause Ryan Crest (sp?) you know, the host of American Idol is actually part of that station. It's weird because none of the American Idol winners will ever have their songs played on that station!
I think like a month ago they played the Dramarama song and I just started dancing and singing but then I was like -wait-how do I know this song?? And it was like -oh yeah-(pause)-Oh, my god! haha. Yeah, that also happened with the Frou Frou song and a few others.
I'm the only one I know who listens to Star. Lol. It's sad though. Not even my family wants to listen to it in the car. Just 'cause it's not "popular" mainstream crap.
"This is weird [music]" -My mom. And after she says that she changes the station.
I bet "You Make Me Feel" would be on my station.

"When Giles [the librarian] sends me on a mission, he says 'please.' And afterwards I get a cookie." -Buffy Summers I thought of this quote today when I was "processing" books at the library. The librarian there had just given me some cookies because I was helping her out.
I'm so starting to stress over finals. It just figures. Yesterday, there was like no sense in me even going to school. I did nothing in all of my classes!
Period 1: Calculus-Nothing because I didn't have book.
Period 2: Biology-Again nothing for like 90% of the time until the teacher started lecturing for the last 10 minutes.
Period 3: English-Nada! We were supposed to do stuff, except Ms. Humphries took too long to get to it.
Period 4: History-I had already finished the work the night before that everyone was doing.
Period 5: PE-Okay, maybe I did do something here. Well not really--it's PE. All I did was get like 5 pts for just being there. Oh, yeah and I get hit in the face by guess who? -Me!
Period 6: Spanish-All I did to do was present "Blanca Nieves" but I didn't even need to because most of the class presented today.
Now today I find out that I'm having a written final in both bio and spanish. Spanish is okay I guess, but only if I study. But it seems like he's making the final so that we don't have to study. We can use our notes and the book. But that's just the teachers way of feeling less guilty because their final is extremely hard! Bio is just blah. I'll probably get a D on it so all it'll do is lower my grade. I want an A!
But I also need to do my stupid book for English. I have bad writers block. (like Molly did for what she wrote for her confirmation (which was great BTW) ...I need a catalyst like the one her father gave her) Alex did give me a good idea-to write about the Roswell/SMA

Today was Bebi's b-day!
Haha last night I spent 3 hours making her card. I didn't mind that much...I was watching Swimfan on my computer while making it. It was a Spongebob card, hehe. Sally made a cake for her, which was delicious! Of course we wouldn't have been able to do it w/out Paola. She hid all the stuff in her locker and she got it out in time before we got there (with Bebi). She was fast! I thought for sure she'd be late. I also thought that Bebi knew what we were doing. But she was surprised!

Haha. Roxana is probably the only one who will understand. haha. Maybe she won't cause I don't seem to be making a lot sense.

MARIA: I think I've earned the right to babble, all right so just deal with it. Why isn't Buffy on! What is wrong w/ UPN! They suck! Actually I did watch the model show last week (that's replacing Buffy) and it was actually pretty good for a
UPN reality show. It comes pretty close to be on the same level as MTV (hey! -MTV is like the creator (sorta) of reality shows-they make 'em good)
I'm actually supposed to be doing my Calc report. So far it's only 1 1/4 long! 1 & 3/4 left!
