"What about him? He's cute in that geeky way you like guys Ashley" -Halley, How to Deal I finished the layout! It's so pretty. I love it! When I first started out I thought it would turn out, well, just plain boring. Haha, I also never thought I would use such a
girly color. I was originally going to use blue, but Jean said she liked this color scheme better. Good advice.
Today I was supposed to do major work on
Promises To Keep, 'cept I was too busy putting the finishing touches on this site. I was up until 11:30 finishing this layout last night...crazy! Especially since yesterday I was so weak. My sleep deprivation has definitely caught up to me. Good thing I slept until 9:35 this morning. Actually I probably would have slept 'til 11 if my mom didn't wake me. Usually I wake up by myself at around 7:30 -8:30 but I guess my body way too tired. I thought it was around 8 when I woke up. I missed 1/4 of VH1s Top 20 Countdown! I ran into the shower when I woke up and when I came out they had already played All-American Rejects & Coldplay! Arghh! Then I only got to see like 3 seconds of Liz Phair before I had to eat breakfast.
I did get to see the rest (while doing my hair-haha). But when I came back it was Ashanti-and Chris is right-she says "Baby" like every 3 seconds! She's so annoying.
Rachel Perry was hosting alone again. I can't believe I didn't notice-And I can't believe she told us-But Rachel Perry was talking about "The Scientist" and she was saying how in the video Chris Martin doesn't even check on his dead friend after the car accident! Oh, my gawd! She's so right. Okay, granted he was unconscious for some time, but when he was conscious he just gets out of the car and walks away! What is up with that? I know, I know it's just a music video but still! But I still think it's brilliant either way.
It was nominated for 3 VMA's! This like the first time, in a long time, a video I like has been nominated. And they're going to be performing too! Hopefully, "The Scientist" but who knows?
Yesterday, I went to Travis'
website. I haven't been there in a long time. But I was greeted with great news-THE FOURTH ALBUM. The last time they worked on it was in March so hopefully it'll come out very, very soon! I can't stand it! I hate waiting -Did has made we wait for 3 years and the pushed back the release date to September 29th! Why?
But anyways...back to Travis. They had more music videos up! The one for "Sing" is so hilarious. It's in true Travis fashion. It's so funny, Neil is just sitting there, eating while everyone is having a food fight. Dougie is way cute in this video. Well cute, in that geeky way that I like guys. Why-yes-I'm-so-Ashley-Martin. I also got to see the video "More Than Us"! And it was a different version than the one on the Roswell soundtrack. How odd! This version was way better. The video was so nice. But also funny in the end with Fran drinking his coffee. At first I didn't even think it was Fran. He looked so different! It's like with every album he has a different look but somehow manages to always stay adorable. Why does he have to have a girlfriend?
The "Happy" video was very conventional. I was surprised...until the end. The monkey!
...I love Travis.
There are so many CDs I want to buy right now...it's crazy!

Today is the last day of July. How depressing. That means only one more month and then it's September. At least I finished
The Scarlet Letter. It was somewhat weird. Their diction is so confusing! I couldn't understand 3/4 of it! I was so confused about the minister and then I kept guessing that he was the father and they didn't really say it until the end and I was like FINALLY! (Or maybe...they did say it earlier I just
skimmed through that part.)
I'm almost done with the layout! Yay! It should be up by tomorrow.

I'm trying really hard to figure out how I want to make my layout. Grrr..arggh. I have the banner I just don't know how I want to set it all up. I don't want it to be all plain that just anyone can do. (Layout is of Scarlett & Halley, of course :) ) I'm trying to sketch now how I want it. I don't usually sketch the layout. Well, sometimes I do if I'm really, really bored in class. *Sigh* I guess its just going to be a layout full of boxes 'cause can't I think of anything else!
