You're the "Pilot," the first episode of
Roswell.
Which Roswell episode are you? brought to you by Quizilla Roddick finally playing a thinking man's game on the court. Or as the announcers like to say, Andy's playing:
"Smart Tennis." I'm so confused. I thought Andy was supposed to play tomorrow but he's not.

Mardy Fish is playing everyday! Well, except Tuesday. But I guess that's a good thing-- Andy gets to rest and Mardy's advancing.
I called Sally to tell her to watch Andy's game yesterday. Hopefully she'll become an Andy fan too. If she watched the whole game and didn't become a fan -I'd be worry because he played
amazing! I think that's the best I've seen him play, and it's so strange too because now the pressure is on him more than ever. He's expected to win the US Open, the biggest tennis event of the season.
Wow, for a moment I was such in a tennis mood and now listening to
Vertical Horizon's, "Best I Ever Had" --it's just taking me back to
Roswell. I just love songs that do that. Now, I'm getting all nostalgic and that ain't good.
It's so strange, I keep forgetting that I found out about
Travis from Roswell. I'm lying down on my bed, staring up at the ceiling, and that's where I have my Roswell soundtrack sign. It's the promotional ad they had in all the music stores, that says all the artists names. And I'm like, wait--
Travis? I keep forgetting and I don't know why? Maybe it's because I just love them both so much that I can't believe they can possibly be connected-- but they are!

That wallpaper is sort of old. But in that moment, the song "Turn" --well it first started playing in a scene with Alex & Liz. It just made me want to cry. Alex was talking about his "trip" to Sweden. (All
true Roswell fans know where he really went.) But anyways... he was talking about the northern lights, (That's what's overlayed in the picture.) and Liz started crying because Alex was saying all this great stuff.
Let me just post it verbatim because I'm just babbling now:

LIZ: Oh, my God.
ALEX: Yeah, the northern lights. I can't describe it. Basically what it is is you're looking up there, and you're actually seeing electrons from the sun colliding with our atmosphere in every color you could possibly imagine. Really makes you realize what a big world is out there. All these...all these possibilities. All these...new experiences. Life. It's all just there...waiting for us. You really gotta travel, Liz. It's the most amazing thing.
LIZ: Yeah. someday.
ALEX: Right. When there's not so much goin' on.
[Scene]
It just makes Liz cry, and you're sort of confused until her next scene. Liz's meeting with Max and that's what made me make the wallpaper.
[Max & Liz meet in the eraser room]
MAX: I got your note. What's wrong?
LIZ: Nothing. No. No, um...that's not true. Umm...I've just been thinking a lot lately, and...have you ever wanted to see Sweden?
MAX: Sweden?
LIZ: I mean or anywhere. Peru, Nigeria, New Zealand...
MAX: Sure. But the closest I'm gonna get right now is the granilith chamber. Why?
LIZ: Watching Alex this week...I just realized that...it's our right to see the world, to live our dreams...
MAX: Liz, that can't happen.
LIZ: Live life. Why?
MAX: Because it doesn't work that way for us. You know that.
LIZ: You and Isabel and Michael and Tess are...you guys are getting cheated on a lot of things, and it's not fair. None of it is.
MAX: Liz, you...should get to see Sweden. We...I...hold you back.
LIZ: No, Max.
MAX: Kyle was right.
LIZ: That's not true.
MAX: Everyone we touch gets hurt in some way or another. 5 years from now, I don't want you to open your eyes and realize that...that you missed out. You're part of the group. You always will be. But you need to be allowed to...to grow.
LIZ: Why can't you come with me?
MAX: Because I can't. But I'll be watching you, Liz Parker. Wherever you go...and I'll be here when you get back.

So lovely, isn't it? Both scenes just make me want to cry. Okay, enough of that.
In less than two hours, Chris is going to be 17. Wow. In less than 10 months I'll be 17 too. How scary! Haha.
I don't really want to admit this, but I have to say that
The OC is slowly winning me over. I just love Seth, he has the best lines. Marissa still gets on my nerves though. She keeps messing up Ryan's mind. I can't stand her. She's so pathetic, in every way. You're probably confused why I hate her so much, unless you hate her yourself, if you do -High-Five- but if you don't then maybe I should post my review on The OC, so you can see why. I think I will- it's only based on the first two episodes though.
Well, tomorrow is my last day of actual vacation. After that, my dad's going to be off too. Then I won't hear the end of it. I can't stand him being off for more than two days because he complains about us not doing anything. Sometimes I just like being home, reading, watching TV, or just blogging. ;)
I'm getting sleepy, which is been very unusual for me. Last night I think I stayed up 'til midnight, just tossing and turning. I can't go to sleep before 11:30PM and even when I do go to sleep at that time, I just lie there in bed. I'm trying to wake up earlier to see if that'll make me go to bed earlier. So far it's working, I woke up at 7 today to watch
Buffy and now my eyes are drooping.
