If there are WMDs in Iraq, then we must assume in a worst case scenario, that they are armed, manned and ready to fire immediately. The importance of locating and destroying these WMDs immediately cannot be over-emphasized. This should compel the US Defense Department and the Bush administration to accept any and all help from the UN and any willing countries in this effort before great harm can be executed upon civilians and military personnel. Patience is a luxury that cannot be afforded in such a situation. If WMDs exist in Iraq and are used before they can be located and destroyed when the US Defense Department has repeatedly rejected such help, there will be much to answer for. Let's hope that the WMDs either do not exist or are found and destroyed before they are used.
